Senscape, an Argentinian game development studio, has announced the release date of its long-awaited supernatural horror adventure game, Asylum. The game is set to launch on March 6, 2025, for PC, Mac, and Linux, after being funded through a successful Kickstarter campaign and receiving an Epic MegaGrant.

Asylum is a first-person adventure game inspired by 80s grindhouse films, H.P. Lovecraft's atmospheric stories, Hammer Films gothic series, and twisted Euro Horror. Players will explore the decaying Hanwell Mental Institute, unraveling a mind-bending mystery and solving puzzles that test their wits and intuition. The game is expected to offer around 15 hours of gameplay and is the spiritual successor to Senscape's cult classic, Scratches.

The director of Asylum, Agustín Cordes, jokingly mentioned that he needs a vacation, while the rest of the team is eager to receive feedback from players. The game's unique approach to storytelling and presentation was put to the test in the free adventure game Serena, which received over 6000 positive reviews and surpassed 1 million downloads.

Senscape has become a significant player in independently developed video games in Argentina, with a focus on narrative games that provide compelling stories and unforgettable experiences. The studio has a Discord community where players can get updates and connect with other fans of the game.
