Indie Game Pc Games Nintendo Switch Free To Play

The beekeeping simulation game, APICO, has received its final update, version 4.0: A Hive of Industry, for PC and Nintendo Switch. This free update includes new automation machines, such as Hoppers, Shredders, and Sprinklers, which can be crafted at the Crystal Workbench. A new resource, Honeycore Crystals, can be found using a resonance meter and melted down in the forge to create crystal items. Players can also acquire pets, including a tiny dinosaur, to accompany them on their adventures.

Two new seasonal events, Hivemas and Hallowbeen, have been added, along with ten new quests, new decor, paints, environmental events, and bees. A new 100% completion surprise is also available for dedicated beekeepers. To celebrate the final update, APICO is available at a 60% discount on Steam as part of the Birthday Bundle, which includes the base game, updates 2.0 through 4.0, and four bee-autiful OSTs.

APICO is a game that combines resource gathering, biology, and minigames, teaching players about beekeeping and the importance of pollinators. The game features unique crafting and beekeeping minigames, cross-breeding, multiple biomes, and a chill soundtrack. A portion of the game's profits goes towards bee conservation.

APICO is available on PC via Steam, Epic Game Store, Humble Game, itch.io, Utomik, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One and Series S|X for $19.99 USD. Update 3.0: What Lies Beeneath and Update 4.0: A Hive of Industry are available for free on Nintendo Switch. The APICO Bee-parture OST is now available on Steam and other music platforms. Follow APICO on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Discord for updates, and keep up with Whitethorn Games on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, Discord, and their website for more information.
