ANTHEM#9 Unveils Stunning Visuals and Winter 2025 Release with Expanded Asian Language Support

Indie Game Pc GamesShueisha Games Inc. has announced updates for their upcoming deck-building roguelite game, ANTHEM#9. A new update trailer revealed enhanced character models and 3D visuals, with an official release set for Winter 2025. The game will feature expanded language support, including Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean, to strengthen its presence in the Asian market.
ANTHEM#9 is a strategic deck-building roguelite where players combine three types of gems to unleash powerful attacks in puzzle-like combat. The game features procedurally generated dungeons, customizable "Skills" and "Breaths," and high-damage combo chains for engaging battles.
The game is developed by koeda, a solo developer who began their journey in 2021 with no prior industry experience. They taught themselves game development in their 30s and won the grand prize in the "Demo-Free Category" at Shueisha Game Creators CAMP GAME BBQ vol.2 with ANTHEM#9.
Shueisha Games, a new video game publisher, aims to combine the abilities of a publishing company and a game company to bring unique games to a worldwide audience. ANTHEM#9 is set to release on Steam in Winter 2025.
