Lost In Cult, a renowned boutique design studio, has announced the upcoming release of "Animal Well: Design Works," a premium art and design book. The book is a result of a close collaboration with the game's developer, Billy Basso, executive producer, Dan Adelman, and publisher, Bigmode. "Animal Well: Design Works" is an officially licensed volume that offers an in-depth look into the development of the atmospheric indie sensation, "Animal Well."

The book, set to ship in Summer 2026, will provide a comprehensive chronicle of the game's development journey, featuring unseen prototypes, behind-the-scenes insights, and interviews with the creative team. It will also include pixel-by-pixel illustrations by Drew Wise and conversations with key members involved in the game's development.

Pre-orders for both the Standard and Deluxe Editions of "Animal Well: Design Works" will open on May 8th, 2025, and will be available for a limited period, closing on July 1st, 2025. The Deluxe Edition, available exclusively during the pre-order window, includes a hardcover with glow-in-the-dark details, a rainbow holographic slipcase, a premium presentation box, an "infinite looping" cassette, a set of four glow-in-the-dark pin badges, a "Save Your Progress" rainbow foil bookmark, and three A4 art prints.

Lost In Cult is also releasing the "Animal Well" OST on vinyl for the first time. The vinyl record will feature the complete soundtrack, as well as unreleased tracks and some extended ambient music.

"Animal Well: Design Works" is a testament to the patience and passion that went into creating the game, and it is a must-have for fans of the game. The book and the vinyl record will be available for pre-order on Lost In Cult's website, with the Deluxe Edition available exclusively during the pre-order window.
