The Anima Flux team has announced the expansion of their co-op Metroidvania 2D platformer game. Starting December 10, the game will be available on GOG, and on December 9, Xbox players can try an exclusive demo. Anima Flux combines intense combat, exploration, and a captivating dystopian narrative. Players take on the roles of two enhanced soldiers fighting a mutant invasion in the last human city, situated on a colossal space ark.

The game features cooperative Metroidvania gameplay, with each character developing differently as the game progresses, encouraging collaboration and support during battles and boss encounters. Players can also enjoy a seamless single-player mode with a robust AI companion. Anima Flux offers a deep, dystopian narrative, with hand-drawn cutscenes, sharp dialogue, and complex characters, exploring the moral and ethical dilemmas of a future society.

The game boasts unique retro sci-fi visuals, inspired by the 80s and 90s aesthetic, with intricately designed environments and a dystopian atmosphere.
