Flyaway Games, a South Korea-based studio, has announced that the world-famous voice actress Akari Kito will be joining Ascend to ZERO with a new update. The update includes voiced lines for characters, including Chrono Child and Frost Moon Hacker, along with four other characters representing alternate future versions of the protagonist. The update also extends the special in-game event for Steam Next Fest, allowing players to unlock an exclusive color scheme for the full game.

The demo for Ascend to ZERO, which includes the Stage 2 Update, features a new area based on a machine-ravaged post-human earth, complete with new monster attack patterns and stage gimmicks. The game is a Time Action Roguelike, with time-stopping action and infinite growth, allowing players to level up and acquire powerful equipment. Flyway Games is known for its creativity and user feedback, producing games like Commander Quest and Trinity Survivors.
