Granvir is a 3rd person action roguelite that combines mech building with strategic management. Players can scavenge for parts to replace and upgrade their Granvir's arms, legs, torso, and weaponry. The game offers a wide range of weapons, including melee weapons like swords, rocket spears, and jaw arms, as well as long-range guns such as cannons, machine guns, flamethrowers, and rockets. Players can mix and match weapons to suit their preferred playstyle.
In addition to the diverse weaponry, Granvir allows players to build their mechs according to their preferences. Players can mix arms, legs, armatures, and special modules to customize their mechs. Defeating ace pilots grants unique parts that players can use to enhance their Granvir.
Granvir also features a strategic campaign management system. Players must manage their time, resources, and route to each objective. Each zone in the game offers different services and resources, which players can use during downtime between missions to refit and upgrade their Granvir.
