Accelix is dedicated to creating games that provide entertainment as well as social impact. The team derives game ideas from social issues and aims to positively impact society through their games.
Accelix's current project, 'Meow Mission', is a puzzle and cat-nurturing simulation game. Players solve Sokoban puzzles to rescue stray cats and care for them at a base, with all cat characters based on real cats from the stray cat shelter 'Nabiya Saranghae'. Accelix plans to donate a portion of the game's revenue to the shelter and introduce stray cats to players to promote adoption.
At PlayX4, Accelix will showcase game demos, gather feedback, and give out self-made goods to users who follow the game's Instagram account. They aim to discuss publishing or investment contracts with various domestic and international buyers. Accelix is also considering publishing in the United States and Japan and cooperating with animal protection agencies in those countries to introduce 'Meow Mission' to global users who love animals.
Accelix has previously completed a project for BHC Chicken's new menu, 'SOMACHI Chicken', and is currently developing a game with Save the Children Korea to raise children's awareness of environmental pollution and the climate crisis. The team also collaborates with organizations such as stray cat shelters and dedicates every Tuesday morning to volunteering.
The 2024 PlayX4 B2B event, themed 'More Than Just the Joy of Gaming', will feature exhibitions and experiences of new games from Korean and international game companies, as well as side programs like the retro game market, esports competitions, and cosplay events.
