JanduSoft, a Spain-based video game publisher, has announced the release date of the physical editions of the arcade game Abathor, developed by Pow Pixel Games and published digitally on multiple platforms in July 2024. The game will be available in two different formats, Standard and Collector's Edition, for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on September 27, 2024.

The Standard Edition includes an instruction booklet, while the Collector's Edition comes with a premium collector's box, full physical game, instruction booklet, original soundtrack CD, artbook, double-sided poster, and two double-sided character coins.

Abathor is a 2D platformer action game that supports up to 4 players in local mode. The game features more than 50 levels with various challenges, epic battles, pixel art, and an epic soundtrack with over 40 tracks. The game is set in the continent of Atlantis, where players must cooperate to save the continent from the hordes of monsters sent by the gods to punish Atlantis.

The game offers exploration and lore, retro arcade experience, and re-live the glory days of 80s and 90s arcades, with retro 16-bit game aesthetics and influences from the beat 'em up games. Abathor is now available for pre-order at main retailers, Amazon, and the Tesura Store. The game is priced at $14.99 or 14.99€.
