Valorware, an indie game studio founded by British developer Tom Au, has announced 9th Dawn Remake, a reimagining of the original 9th Dawn title. The remake features 2.5D graphics, remade dungeons, improved animation, rewritten story and quests, more fluid combat, first-person mode, and two mini-games - Fishing Survivors and Deck Rock.

9th Dawn Remake offers a massive open world with over 45 new hand-crafted dungeons, spells and abilities, monster pets, side quests, loot and prizes, crafting, and two mini-games. The game is scheduled to launch on Steam later this year, with pricing yet to be determined.

Tom Au, the founder and solo developer of Valorware, shared his excitement about the remake, stating that the original 9th Dawn game did not meet his original vision due to its quality and bugs. Au had plans to remake it, and after many game releases, including the successful 9th Dawn III, he was ready to take on the remake.
